The Hazda is a series of photographs by world renowned photographer Martin Schoeller. The Hazda people, also known as the Hadzabe’e hail from central Tanzania around Lake Eyasi in central Rift Valley. They are a small community of under 1000 people.
They grow no food, raise no livestock, and live without rules or calendars. They are living a hunter-gatherer existence that is little changed from 10,000 years ago. What do
they know that we’ve forgotten?[/box]
