No this is not a new series but sometimes we like to pepper in some music videos here and there. Catch some of these recent videos from musicians in Africa.  Most recent of 2012 – The Plastics – indie band from Cape Town, Esau Mwamwaya  and London DJ Radioclit who make up – The Very Best – have a new video out Yoshua Alikuti which  spoofs off Lil Wayne’s “A Milli”. Favourites of last year include Tumi & the Volume, D’Banj, Ayo, Camp Mulla and lesser know Francis Jocky whose video is a little older but an old soul whose music is attention worthy. Enjoy.

D’Banj – Oliver Twist  (Nigeria)

The Plastics – Stereo Kids (South Africa)

The Very Best – Yoshua Alikuti (Malawi / England)

Ayo –  I’m Gonna Dance (Germany / Nigeria)

Camp Mulla featuring Collo – Party Don’t Stop (Kenya)

Tumi & the Volume –  Asinamali (South Africa)

Francis Jocky – Meant to last (Cameroon / France / New York)
