The Henry Tayali Art Centre

The Henry Tayali Art Gallery was named as a tribute to late artist Henry Tayali, who died in Germany in 1987.

The Henry Tayali Visual Arts Center is located on Lion Lane, Showgrounds, Lusaka. Opened in 1995 the Cenre composes of the Visual Arts Council as well as the Henry Tayali Art Gallery.

Founded in honor of Zambian artist Henri Tayali whose works was influenced by the political climate of Zambia in the 1970’s. Hailed as one of the most important artist in the country the centre features his work as well as facilities dedicated to the visual arts. The centre also hosts a number of art seminars, workshops for the public.
