1:54 is the African contemporary art event of the year. This year’s 1:54 has been much talked about as a result of its extraordinary selection of 111 African artists.

An event not to be missed.
1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair will take place in London from 16 to 19 October 2014 (preview day: 15 October).

Taking its name from the 54 countries on the continent, 1:54 is a platform for galleries, artists, curators, art centers and museums
involved in African and Africa related projects and aims to promote art by established and emerging talents amongst an international audience. The fair will showcase 25-30 carefully selected galleries.
