‘Young Visionary' . . . #TBT — Channeling Barnor: James Barnor’s photographs always give me life. Always. When I came across ‘Salah Day,’ a photo he took in 1973 in Kokomlemle, Accra, the subject drew me in; Her poise, colors and shapes of her traditional dress, her focused stare. I felt compelled to experiment. I literally couldn’t help it lol. I just had to play around with the forms, separate the colors, abstract the shapes etc. ‘For fun’ I guess . . . . . #afroscope #art #artwork #artgallery #jamesbarnor #collage #photography #explore #exploretocreate #ghana #supportblackart #design #painting #collageart #fineart #accra #namaste #visualsgang #modernart #graphicdesign
