The Blind Mass Orchestra: An Immersive Musical Performance

The Blind Mass Orchestra: An Immersive Musical Performance

Late last year ( Sept2017) I was fortunate to experience one of the most unique performance in my Life. At the Centre of the Less Good Idea, the Blind Mass Orchestra gave a 40 minute performance as part of the program at the centre. The Blind Mass Orchestra is led by João Renato Orecchia Zúñiga and follows a specific set of rules. The 10 piece band is completely improvisational no performance is the same and it is a truly immersive experience one in which the audience and performance simultaneously participate by interacting with a variety of cues.
