Shainess Daoud is a documentary photographer who captures daily life in the island of Ngazidja (Comoros). Her photography shows scenes of motherhood, family/society bondages, spirituality and African Identities and cultures.
At 24 she is the founder of of The Kure Project, an apparel company giving voice to a generation. She is described as;
The African millenial is continuing to set her sights on greater things, still. Namely, the transformation of her birth home, Comoros. A volcanic archipelago off Africa’s east coast. What’s more, she’s doing this through photography.
