So I run the Igbo Academy (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=72209787660) and part of the stuff I've done is develop a new writing system for my language Igbo (long story but basically Igbo was originally written in Nsibidi which is a writing system that we developed then the Europeans came along and we completely abandoned it – otherwise we'd have logographic script today – long story short, Igbo is now written in the Latin alphabet but it has caused a legion of problems and now most Igbo people don't write Igbo or use it for any practical purpose.)
This is where I come in. So I developed the script, started the Academy and launched The Ndebe Project (http://ndebe.blogspot.com – the actual project overseeing the script and the language) but of course it's hard to work with a hand written script on the Internet so I used Fonstruction to create a very basic type font for it. I also made a custom keyboard to work with the font so it would be easier for me to type up Igbo posts for the blog in the Ndebe script.

I love typography!!! Writing anything makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and then making writing look pretty? Bliss!!
