I am the Nu Black is the 2011 Winner of Best International Blog awarded by the Black Weblog Awards. It focuses on Re-defining Black culture through the work of Contemporary Creatives and often features work of youth of African descent , the things that inspire them, positive images, videos, news articles, quotes etc.
The name thenublack comes from the idea that my generation and those born to parents of the African diaspora have had a path paved for them by their ascendants.
