Taj Francis is a Jamaican digital and visual artist who produces work that draws from a vibrant Jamaican Reggae aesthetic. We featured his work a few years ago, Rumination, and since then he has developed an eclectic portfolio is a dynamic blend of his cultural background as well as japanese manga, vintage vinyl, baroque paintings and ‘super-flat pop art aesthetic’. Francis freely experiments from video art and animation to street art, focusing on what he describes as “cultural dualities, internalized human issues, and African/Caribbean identity”.
