His early successes included winning several local drawing competitions, setting the stage for a remarkable career in the arts.

Despite these hurdles, Antoine Onomo has successfully established and grown 25Frames Animation Studio. His achievement is a testament to his resilience and ingenuity, overcoming resource constraints and financial barriers to create a thriving animation hub. By leveraging his creativity and determination, Onomo has not only navigated these obstacles but has also elevated the profile of animation in Cameroon, fostering a burgeoning industry in the face of adversity.

In 2017, Onomo, alongside a close friend, established 25Frames Animation Studio. This significant step marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career. The studio quickly became a hub for producing high-quality animated content, specializing in films and animated series. That same year, Onomo co-directed “Les Aventures De Kétoou Et Ayo,” an animated series for children that showcased his ability to create engaging and educational content.

Onomo’s dedication to animation soon garnered widespread recognition. His short film “Un Day De Matta” achieved critical acclaim, receiving the Best Animation award at Ficomp in Congo. The film’s success continued on the international stage, earning accolades at the Cinéphilia Flair Film Festival in Pakistan and being named a semi-finalist at LIFANIMA in Ghana. These awards, along with numerous other honors in Cameroon and beyond, highlighted Onomo’s growing influence in the animation industry.
