Souad Iris is a Senegalese, Swiss and French artist experimenting with various forms of graphic art and collage. She creates these extraordinary self portrait collages that blend textures, colour and cultural elements from Senegal and West Africa.
“Art is for me a vector of change, a way to offer a different reality, in its ultimate form, in my conception, it should transcend the boundaries of the actual society and come up with a utopia, which our world currently truly lacks of. In general, art is a form to question or disturb people for me. My art right now is actually pretty far from my “ideal art” !
