Adoté Edem is a Togolese digital and graphic artist whose unique style and use of technology has captured the attention of art enthusiasts like African Digital Art.
Born and raised in Togo, Edem was always fascinated by art and technology. Growing up, he would spend hours drawing and experimenting with different computer programs. However, due to limited resources and access to formal art education, Edem was largely self-taught. Edem’s work is a blend of traditional African art with modern technology. He draws inspiration from his Togolese roots and incorporates elements of African culture and heritage into his digital art. His artwork depict traditional ceremonies, folklore, and daily life in West Africa, giving viewers a glimpse into the vibrant and diverse culture of the region.
My name is Akuetey Adoté Edem, I am a graphic designer and a digital artist, born in France from Togolese parents. I am fascinated by creating images that blend African culture and futuristic aesthetics, exploring different styles and techniques. I mainly work on Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D software for about more than 8 years, switching from prompt design. I decided to create an Instagram account @ak.mossay to share my creations and inspire other artists. This account allowed me to make myself known and collaborate with other creatives, such as musicians, videographers. I challenged myself to create weekly artworks and share them with my community. I am happy to contribute to this platform that celebrates the richness and diversity of African art and technology
